A very good, central location
Steps away from one of the trendiest areas in Paris (rue Charlot, rue de Poitou, etc…): many creators around (fashion designers, etc..), the most experienced French movie director lives in rue du Perche, etc...),
very near rue de Bretagne's markets (Enfants Rouges) and many food shops, and art galleries of rue Charlot and rue de Poitou,
minutes away, by foot, from Picasso Museum, the wonderful Place des Vosges, and the colorful Centre Georges Pompidou.
Close to rue de Turenne and bus line 96, which goes to many nice places in Paris (Place des Vosges, St Paul area, City Hall, Notre-Dame, Quartier Latin, Montparnasse, also now trendy and popular Oberkampf and Menilmontant areas)
Next metro stops are Temple and Republique.
Going by foot, down rue de Turenne to Place des Vosges, or nearby rue des Archives to the Seine river, usually takes no more than 15 to 20 minutes
The apartment
Spacious and yet cosy one/two bedroom flat with a balcony giving on the green Square du Temple, renovated in 2006, nice wooden floor almost everywhere, refined decor ( see the ceiling of the corridor leading to the main bedroom at the very back of the flat), modern equipment in the living room, the bathroom, the kitchen. Wifi DSL High speed access to Internet for either PC or Mac, large TV, etc...
The apartment is organised around a spacious central dining room/piano room with a south-east facing window that makes it nicely bright.
On the front side, a living room (with a sofa-bed, maybe also the large sofa is one, to be rechecked) and a den give on the balcony. Behind the den (which probably was formerly a bedroom), a renovated marble bathroom offering both a bathtub with a shower nozzle, and a separate shower with modern equipment. Integrated toilet.
On the back side, along the corridor leading to the main bedroom which faces east, a well equipped kitchen (refrigerator, oven, gas burners, diswasher, toaster, usual kitchenware and tableware) and a toilet with a wash-basin. The main bedroom has a comfortable double bed. The washing machine is operated in a cupboard of the main bedroom
